Using Glori Enterprise's concept and industry niche expertise, SpecSys, Inc. was hired to design and manufacture theFODD (3.0) silage separation machine. This machine is designed and built to separate silage into to unique fractions each with their own nutrient profiles. This allows livestock operations to precisely control nutrient distribution across their animal herds.
SpecSys design efforts include the trommel structure & shroud, trommel drum, trommel clean out system, hopper, augers, electric drive, computer control system, and installation details.
Deliverables included the CAD model, assembly drawings, weldment drawings, piece part drawings, bill of material, schematics, and all structural and drive calculations. In addition, SpecSys developed the control system, designed the HMI screens, and wrote 100% of the code.
100% turnkey machine. SpecSys manufactured, tested, and supported installation on-site at client's location. All steel fabrication, weld, machining, and paint completed in-house. Procurement of components, supplier coordination, accounts payable, inventory control, final assembly, test, teardown & ship prep, and load-out completed at SpecSys, by SpecSys with us on-site to erect the machine in the field.
SpecSys plans to further support Glori Enterprises with production manufacturing and design iterations should they arise for the foreseeable future.
